Has predictability hit the screens?

Why is it that every movie, I have watched recently has me predicting the end? Even with critics acclaiming it. Horror flicks? - The unexpected one lives. Chick flicks? - Its all a bed of roses at the end. Thriller movies? - The killer is the one that was mentioned at the initial scene of the movie. I want movies with questions, rather than answers. I want the divergent of serious and comedic tones. I want the antithesis of an environment filmed.

Someone bring back Quentin Tarantino, Woody Allen and M night Shymalan back.. Till then screw movies, im sticking to Television series. Anticipating the wait for the next episode is way more enticing than watching another movie with a predictable ending.

I agree with you...
The movies I've watched this summer (old/new) ARE HORRIBLY predictable.

And ,'The Lakehouse,' and 'Closer' <--(which is SO PORNO) do not make ANY SENSE whatsoever.

*sigh*

Bring back sense alone!
